We are delighted to announce that The Royal Opera returns to Japan in June 2024 for the first time since 2019.

Music Director of The Royal Opera Antonio Pappano will be conducting two masterpieces with spectacular casts: Verdi's Rigoletto in the darkly elegant production of Director of Opera Oliver Mears, and Puccini's Turandot in the exuberant classic staging by Andrei Serban. It will be Pappano's final conducting in Japan with The Royal Opera as he is to step down from the position of Music Director at the end of July 2024. The performances are not to be missed.

Detailed tour information will be announced in December 2023.
