Top dancers of the Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris perform two exuberant gala programs paying tribute to ballet legend Nureyev

2023 marks 30 years since the ballet legend Rudolf Nureyev's death. Un Soir à l'Opéra ―Gala Tribute to Nureyev will be presented with two exuberant programs danced by the fourteen star dancers of the Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris including six Étoiles such as Mathias Heymann, Germain Louvet and Hannah O'Neill who has recently been promoted to Étoile. They will be led by Florence Clerc, the former Étoile during the Nureyev's tenure as artistic director.
Join us for scintillating shows to savour the incomparable artistry of the dancers of the Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris passing on the legacy of Rudolf Nureyev.

1. Two-program tickets (Categories S, A and B)
Enjoy a discount of 1,000 yen/set (one ticket for programs A and B), by purchasing the same number of tickets for both programs. Two-program tickets will be on sale from Thursday 30 March 2023, 21:00 at NBS WEB Ticket and WBS Ticket Center (Phone 03-3791-8888).
2. Presales for single-program tickets (Categories S, A, B, C, D and E)
Presales for single-program tickets will begin on Thursday 30 March 2023, 21:00 at NBS WEB Ticket and will close on Thursday 12 March 2023, 18:00.
3. Parent and Child Tickets (Categories S, A and B)
Child tickets for children between 6 and 18 years old are half the adult price. Parent and Child Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday 25 April 2023 at 10:00 at NBS WEB Ticket and NBS Ticket Center (Phone 03-3791-8888). Up to two child tickets per one adult ticket can be purchased. You can select seat category but cannot select seat(s). Our system automatically allocates the "best available" seating to you for the price category you have selected.
4. 25 and Under Tickets
¥3,000 tickets for those aged 6 to 25 years go on sale on Thursday 22 June 2023, 20:00 at NBS WEB Ticket. You must bring identity documents with proof of age to pick up your tickets at the venue on the performance day.
5. Discount for two persons (Categories S and A)
Enjoy a discount of \1,000 for two persons. Tickets will be on sale during the periods of presales and the general sales at NBS WEB Ticket and NBS Ticket Center (Phone 03-3791-8888).

Teatro dell'Opera di Roma returns to Japan for the first time in five years.

The Teatro dell'Opera di Roma returns to Japan for the first time since 2018. We are delighted to be able to present the first opera tour by an overseas company in four years after several postponements due to COVID-19.
Led by conductor Michele Mariotti who assumed the title of the Company's Music Director on 1 November 2022, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma will present two masterpieces in sumptuous productions: La traviata in Sopfia Coppola's production which won huge public and critical acclaim on their last Japan tour in 2018, and Tosca in Franco Zeffirelli's production. 2023 is the great film and stage director's 100th birth anniversary.
Both operas will be sung by the captivating cast. In La traviata, soprano Lisette Oropesa stars as Violetta, opposite tenor Francesco Meli as Alfredo Germont and baritone Amartuvshin Enkhbat as Giorgio Germont. In Tosca, soprano Sonya Yoncheva takes on the title role, opposite tenor Vittorio Grigolo as Mario Cavaradossi and baritone Roman Burdenko as Baron Scarpia

Get a ¥3,000 coupon/set (one ticket for each program) by purchasing the same number of tickets for both programs. You can choose from different seat categories for each performance. The coupon can be used for purchasing the following items at the venues of the performances of The Teatro dell'Opera di Roma in September 2023.

¥15,000 tickets for those aged 6 to 39 years, for the performances of Sept. 13 La traviata and Sept. 21 Tosca go on sale on Thursday 10 August 2023, 20:00 at NBS WEB Ticket. You must bring identity documents with proof of age to pick up your tickets at the venue on the performance day.
5. Opera Royal Seat

Mizuka Ueno on Stage tours with guest dancer Yasuo Atsuji

Mizuka Ueno will retire as Principal dancer of The Tokyo Ballet at the end of March after 20 years. In April, she will return to stage as Guest Principal dancer with The Tokyo Ballet.
Following the highly acclaimed performances in February, Mizuka Ueno on Stage will be presented in Kawaguchi city and Okayama city on 16 and 18 June, joined by the former Principal dancer at Birmingham Royal Ballet, Yasuo Atsuji, as guest artist.
Join us to witness the new start of Mizuka Ueno and the flamboyant partnership with the star dancer Yasuo Atsuji.

Patrons are incredibly valuable to Japan Performing Arts Foundation to continue its vital work. Royal Opera Seat is a membership for people who wish to become patrons.
We are now accepting Royal Opera Seat membership for the 2023 Japan tour of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. The total fee of JPY518,000 includes one ticket in category S for a performance of La traviata and Tosca each, and a donation of JPY400,000. Your donation will directly fund realization of the performances and will help providing opportunities to a wider audience through various discount tickets such as student tickets. The donations are tax-deductible.
Opera Royal Seat members enjoy the following benefits:
1) Priority booking ahead of the public.
2) Invitation to rehearsals of La traviata and Tosca.
3) Invitation to exclusive event(s) attended by either conductor, artistic director or singer(s) to be held during the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma's Japan tour.
4) Invitation to a backstage tour for either La traviata or Tosca.
5) Complimentary program book.
6) Priority booking for Sonia Yoncheva's concert in Tokyo scheduled for Saturday 30 September 2023.
7) Priority to additional booking for your friends and family members (in categories S, A or B) ahead of public.
