Hamburg Ballet Japan Tour 2021

The Hamburg Ballet returns to Japan for the first time since 2018. They will bring three programs:

Anna Karenina, a ballet inspired by Leo Tolstoy, Bernstein Dances, a ballet revue based on the music and spirit of Leonard Bernstein, and The World of John Neumeier, a gala which was performed in Japan in 2016 and 2018 and swept up the audiences in a storm of emotions.

Ticket sale dates will be announced at a later date. The tour begins on Friday 12 March 2021. Don't miss it!

Rescheduled Dates for The Ninth Symphony performances in April/May 2021

We are pleased to announce next year's rescheduled dates for The Ninth Symphony performances that were originally scheduled to be performed in April 2020 by The Tokyo Ballet and the Béjart Ballet Lausanne and postponed in March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new dates begin on 29 April 2021 and end on 2 May 2021. Tickets purchased for the original performance dates will be honored for the rescheduled 2021 date. Please contact us for further information at english@nbs.or.jp . New ticket sale dates will be announced at a later date.
