We regret to inform all ticket holders for The Tokyo Ballet's Don Quixote Performances in September 2020 that we have to cancel all the tickets first and then restart selling tickets with a new seating capacity reduced to 50% of the theater. It is to meet the current Japanese government capacity restrictions on large events which are to be maintained until the end of September 2020.

Please also note that the curtain time for each performance has been moved back in order to secure enough time for security reasons including ventilation of the venue and to ask the audience members to sanitize their hands before entry.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused but would appreciate your kind understanding in the interest of the public health.

Ticket holders will be e-mailed with refund details from your point of purchase. Ticket presales will begin on Thursday 10 September 2020 and general sales on Friday 11 September 2020. Since the number of tickets sold will be limited to 50% of the theater capacity, it might not be possible for all the current ticket holders to reserve again. We are very sorry for the inconvenience but would recommend that you try to reserve at your earliest convenience once the sales begin. For more information, please contact us at english@nbs.or.jp .

New ticket sales dates

Presales begin on Thursday 10 September 2020.

General sales begin on Friday 11 September 2020.

It is with great regret to announce that we have had to postpone all The Tokyo Ballet's performances of The Sleeping Beauty of My First Ballet Series at the 8^th Meguro Ballet Festival because a case of COVID-19 was confirmed among the persons concerned with The Tokyo Ballet. We immediately took all the urgent measures to prevent spread of viruses under the direct instruction of the public health center, including disinfection of all the facilities of the Company and temporary suspension of the activities of the Company and people concerned. However, in the interest of public safety, we made the decision to postpone the performances to Sunday 13 September 2020 to be presented at an alternative venue, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan. We apologize to our valued audiences who have been anticipating the performances but appreciate everyone's kind understanding for the unavoidable situation and your continued support.

All tickets will be refunded. Ticket holders will be e-mailed with refund details from your point of purchase. General sales for the performances with the new date and times will begin on Friday 21 August 2020. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
